are many mothers in here breastfeeding?

how are you finding watching what your eating in relation to your milk supply? it seems like the less i eat is the less milk there is (i express milk a lot). has anyone else found this and how are you combating it? or are you just doing loads of exercise to cancel out some of the food?

Looking for a new fitness program? How about trying the Presidential Fitness Challenge. This challenge comes in three varieties:

1. The Active Lifestyle Program - For those of you who aren't active on a daily basis yet, this is a great way to begin. The rules are basically to get a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, for a total of 6 weeks.

2. The Presidential Champions Program - If you're already active and want a new challenge, this program is for you. Your goal is to see how many points you can earn by staying active. Points are based on the amount of energy each activity burns. So the more active you are, the more points you'll get. When you reach 20,000 points, you'll earn a Bronze award. Then you can continue on in the Presidential Champions program for a Silver or Gold award.

3. The Advanced Performance Presidential Champions Program - This is basically the same system as the Presidential Champions Program, except that the award goals are higher. For instance, you need to get 40,000 points to earn a Bronze award.

Well this community seems about dead, doesn't it. Here's hoping it lives a little longer.

I haven't been paying attention to what I've been eating or how much, so despite the fact that I'm breastfeeding I've managed to gain a few pounds back. The fact that I exercise less than I did while pregnant also might have something to do with that.

Any advice for finding time to exercise with a baby who rarely naps? Or any ideas for exercises you can do while holding a baby?

Hey...its willow_tree393...just in a different name. I am so sorry I haven't been on...

1.) I have been babysitting a 2 month old little boy who is recovering from a crack addiction (his mother was using while he was inside of her.) And he is a handful, plus I am watching my own (who is 4 months) and I have to give him babyfood 3 times a day because he only gained 1 pound since his 2 months shot/visit.

2.) My wedding date is on December 16th, 2006, so I have been a little busy with that...

However, that is not an excuse! I am really sorry I haven't been on! I am really sorry!

Answer to danalea83 question: Go to gnc (if you have one) and get 'Piranah energy drink--phunky fruit punch' its an energy drink that fills you up *as in the hungryness* and it taste like Diet Sprite!

Answer to x_grungekitty_x question: For your thighs, lay down and put your *clean* feet on the wall, with your hands under your head. Pit some pressure onto the wall and lift you butt 6 inches off the ground then tighten your abs and lowering your butt to the ground, but not all the way...do 10 sets of 5

Okay I KNOW I could work out things have just been really insane around here...But I'm stuck at 170lbs!! I'm soo nervous about gaining it back or not being able to lose anymore has anyone gotten stuck than got over that hump HOW?!?! I can't take diet pills because of medication that I'm on so that's not an option ANY IDEAS would be AWESOME!!!

Yay! I finally had my baby.

Kaitlin Elizabeth was born at 4:59am on Sunday, October 9, 2005. She was 8lbs, 12.6oz and 20.5 inches long.

I was 160 pounds pre-pregnancy, I got up to 194 pounds while pregnant, and today at five days post-partum I am 172 pounds. It would be nice if there were some other way to lose 20 pounds in less than a week!

So I have 12 pounds to go until my pre-pregnancy weight and about 40 until I get to my goal weight. I'll wait a few more days before I get started actively exercising, but wish me luck on my weight-loss (and new mommy) journey. :)

Well I haven't been very active I've been wanting to do the challenges the last time but i've had some personal things going on...anyway I stepped on the scale today and realized I've lost a lil more weight I still have a ways to go but this is the 1st time it's finally coming off!! Well I hope everyone else is having sucssess :)

The challenge is over and the inches are in...however, I could not get a hold of ghettoangel503, and Danalea83 e-mailed me saying she did not loose any inches. So, we only have 2 people instead of four!

I please to announce that ***babydylan0605*** is the winner! She has lost 6 inches all-together!

Tighs: She lost 1 1/4 inches!
Biceps: She gained 1/2 (however, She gained muscle!)
Hips: She lost 1/2 inches!
Waist: She lost a total of 3 whole inches!
Bust: She lost 1 inch!

Second Place is: mop_top417---5 whole inches
Thighs: she lost 1 inch and 1/2!
